社名の「わたつみ」とは、古事記神話における海の神の名前で、漢字では綿津見、和多都見、海神、等と表記されます。
文字通り船の守護神として、船舶運航、船舶にかかわる人たちを、遠くに近くにお守りする存在でありたいと願っています。
Our company mainly conducts survey work for P&I incidents and various surveys related to ships, and act as correspondent for P&I Clubs, and providing consulting service on marine insurance and ship management. The founder has worked at sea and has many years of experience in the P&I industry. The company name “Watatsumi” is the name of the sea god in Japan appears in “Kojiki” mythology. Our mission is to protect ships and people in marine industry, as the name “Watatsumi” suggests.
